About

The Blog

Fantasy In Motion is simply a SFF-genre blog. It started out as my personal blog about writing and has since developed to cover a wide range of SFF topics, but still with a heavy emphasis on writing and writers.

Since setting up the blog in 2012, I’ve had the opportunity to interview some brilliant sci-fi/fantasy authors and also meet other aspiring authors like myself. There’s a lot of content available, including several regular series’ and a collection of “Writing 101” articles.

I really hope you enjoy exploring the blog and please remember to Follow to get notified each time a new post goes up!

The Master… the Preciousssss

My name is James (A.K.A. Cirias) and I’m a fantasy writer in the United Kingdom. I’m currently working on my debut fantasy novel which I hope to have published someday soon. I like to experiment with new ideas and genres but I always seem to end up back at fantasy.

James

All the short stories and flash fiction pieces that I’ve written are available to read from the ‘Shorts’ page, so check them out if you have a spare few minutes.

I can always be found as Cirias, on the SFF World forums here. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to get in touch by filling out the form below. I’ll always make sure to get back to you!

Guest Posts/Interviews

If you would be interested in contributing a guest post or interview to the blog, then please feel free to contact me and I will get in touch with you as soon as I can.

Unfortunately, I’ve decided to take down the My Maps page. My old maps feature place names that I am still using for my current writing project and I’d prefer not to share them at the moment. If I ever get published, I promise I’ll share my map then!

Wow. How did it take me so long to find this blog? Good stuff, man. Now I feel like mine’s unnecessary; but I’ll keep posting anyway.
