I definitely know that writing flame you’re talking about! A good point — about knowing why one writes. That’s probably the most important question any writer should ask him/herself, at some point anyway. I look forward to reading more of your posts. Will follow

The few writing-friends I have are presently struggling with dry-dog days. It’s like a plague. It’s nice to hear someone has found their groove. It’s amazing how invigorating it can be to write about what you love and, with a little planning, find that rhythm. Hold on loosely and keep the pen moving! You give me hope.
